On July 28, 2019, Swamibapa's Morris Ouma made headlines with an unbeaten 77 not out in the Hirani Telcom Invitational Twenty20 Cricket tournament, leading his team to a 57-run victory over Sikh Union.
Swamibapa, batting first, set a target of 179 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks in part to the opening stand of 58 runs between Rushab Patel and Naman Patel.
However, it was Ouma's partnership with Emmanuel Bundi that proved crucial, as they shared 58 runs and laid the foundation for Swamibapa's victory.
With Ouma's 77 not out, Swamibapa earned 32 points on the league standings, tying with Kanbis, who also secured 32 points after winning both their matches.
As a result, Kanbis took the top spot in the league table with a superior net run rate, while Swamibapa will face Ruaraka in the semi-finals.
