Published on July 28, 2019, Olive, a former Mother-in-law actress, shared her harrowing experience of being physically abused by her ex-husband, Roy Upton, in the United States.
Olive and Roy got married in 2013, but their marriage started to crumble a few years later. In an emotional interview, Olive revealed that her ex-husband would often give her a dog's chew toy as a gift, even in front of their friends.
'I remember one time, he slapped me and kicked me while I was sleeping, and I remembered how my father used to beat my mother when we were young,' Olive said.
She added, 'There was a time when my friends came to visit me, and when I returned home, my husband was very aggressive and started giving me a dog's chew toy without any regard.'
Despite her initial hesitation, Olive eventually left the marriage a few years later.
