Kakamega Man Arrested for Brutal Killing of Suspected Chicken Thief

On Sunday, a disturbing video went viral on social media, showing a man being brutally cut into pieces with a panga in Shinyalu, Kakamega county.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday morning, was captured on tape and showed the victim, who was allegedly caught stealing a chicken, being hacked to death by a crowd of onlookers.

Francis Muse Liseche, alias Moi, alias President, was later arrested by a team of detectives dispatched from DCI headquarters on Sunday afternoon.

According to the DCI, the victim succumbed to his injuries and three other suspects, including the owner of the alleged stolen chicken, were also arrested.

The four suspects will be arraigned on Monday to face murder charges.

As reported by the DCI on Twitter, "Mr. Francis Muse Liseche alias Moi alias President who was captured on a viral video savagely cutting a man on allegations of stealing a chicken has been arrested by #DCI Detectives from the HQs. Three other suspects also arrested including the owner of the alleged stolen chicken."
