On July 28, 2019, a disturbing video surfaced showing a man from Kakamega county slashing a suspected chicken thief with a panga.
Francis Liseche, alias Moi, was arrested alongside three other individuals by DCI officers after the video went viral.
According to eyewitnesses, Liseche was seen slashing the man with a panga multiple times as a crowd watched.
The victim later succumbed to his injuries.
The other three suspects arrested include the owner of the chicken.
Police stated, "The FOUR suspects will be arraigned on Monday to face Murder charges. Further inquiries on the matter still ongoing."
