On July 26, 2019, a dramatic scene unfolded at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala during the Miss Uganda 2019/2020 beauty pageant. The event's chief judge, Zari, was invited on stage by the host, Anita Fabiola, to announce the winner.

However, instead of announcing the winner, Zari handed the envelope containing the name to Fabiola and told her to do it. This unexpected move sparked a heated exchange between the two women.

According to eyewitnesses, Fabiola tried to get Zari's attention, but she ignored her. Zari later explained her actions, stating that it was her way of testing how the show host would react.

The drama has left fans of the two women divided, with some defending Zari's actions and others criticizing her behavior. Akothee, a friend of Zari's, even came out to defend her, saying that Zari was simply 'putting people in their right place.'
