Tragedy struck the family of Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali with the passing of his son Chris Masaka, a US Marine who died in Arizona on July 26, 2019.
According to reports, Masaka, 35, drowned while trying to save a child from a swimming pool during a family holiday in Arizona.
Robert Ayisi, the MP's eldest son, revealed that the family received news of Masaka's death from a relative who works with him in the Navy.
Chris Masaka lived in Illinois and leaves behind an expectant wife and two children.
