While some people find the look 'pretty' and 'beautiful', others are less than impressed, commenting 'ew' and saying it looks 'gross'.
One Facebook user even expressed concern that the long toenails wouldn't fit in their sneakers, while another person thought it was 'just wrong'.
Some users also questioned the practicality of the trend, with one person commenting, 'I guess they don't actually do anything, because wearing anything other than sandals would be awful.'
