Ken Okoth, the Kibra MP, has left behind a legacy of courage and resilience in his battle against colorectal cancer. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2017 and had been undergoing treatment for several months.

Okoth's health took a turn for the worse on Thursday, July 25, when he was admitted to Nairobi Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, his condition deteriorated, and he was transferred to the ICU, where he passed away on Friday, July 26, at 4 pm.

Okoth's wife, Monica Ambrossinni, stood by him throughout his illness, and he often spoke about her unwavering support. In a heart-wrenching quote, Okoth said, 'Guys, take care of your wives. You may have a lot of money for treatment, but nothing equals a woman who stands by you in your moment of illness.'

Okoth's passing has sent shockwaves across the nation, with many leaders and friends paying tribute to his courage and resilience. He was 41 years old.
