On July 26, 2019, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Super League members convened for an extraordinary general assembly at Mandela National Stadium. The event was well attended, with 15 out of the 16 members present.
Only Kyetume FC, the newest member, was absent, sending an apology. Of the 15 members in attendance, 13 voted in favor of the proposed resolutions.
