IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati's failed attempt to send Ezra Chiloba on compulsory leave has left the country in a state of uncertainty, just six days before the elections.

According to Chebukati, his efforts to remove Chiloba following a Supreme Court ruling were unsuccessful, allowing Chiloba to embark on a three-week vacation.

Chiloba's decision to take a break has been met with skepticism, with many questioning the timing and motives behind it.

As the country prepares for the elections, the IEBC's credibility is being questioned, with many calling for reforms and a more transparent process.

Majority of Kenyans want peaceful elections that will pass the basic credibility test, but with Chiloba's actions, this seems unlikely.

As the country heads into the elections, it remains to be seen how Chiloba's actions will impact the outcome.
