Ken Okoth: Tributes Pour in for Hardworking MP

Ken Okoth, the 41-year-old Kibra MP, died on July 26, 2019, at Nairobi Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. He had been admitted to the hospital on July 25, 2019.

Okoth, a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), had been diagnosed with cancer in March 2019 and had flown to France for specialized treatment, where he stayed for five months.

As news of his death spread, Kenyans across the country took to social media to pay their tributes to the hardworking lawmaker, who was serving his second term as Kibra MP.

Okoth's family had confirmed his death, and his colleagues and constituents were left in shock by the news.

He was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at around 8 pm on July 25, 2019, and remained there overnight, suffering from multiple organ failure.

Okoth's death has sent shockwaves across the country, with many paying tribute to his hard work and dedication to his constituents.
