Ken Okoth, the Kibra Member of Parliament, has passed away at the age of 41 after succumbing to colorectal cancer.
Okoth was admitted to the Nairobi Hospital's ICU wing on Thursday night, where he suffered multiple organ failure.
Despite making a public appearance just two weeks ago at the Kibra Music Festival, Okoth's health took a turn for the worse.
He died on July 26, 2019, at the Nairobi Hospital.
