Equity, KPA Maintain Top Position Chase

Published on July 26, 2019, Equity Bank and KPA are in a fierce battle for the top position in the women's basketball Premier League.

Equity Bank, led by coach David Maina, is currently at the top of the 12-team league table standings with 27 points, thanks to their impressive record of 13 wins and one loss so far this term.

They will face Eagle Wings at Nyayo National Gymnasium on Saturday, and are expected to emerge victorious, given their previous win against the same team.

On the other hand, KPA, who are second on the league table with 20 points, will face University of Nairobi's Dynamites on Saturday, and are expected to rely heavily on experienced players like Selina Okumu and Natalie Akinyi to secure a win.

Other matches scheduled for Saturday include Storms vs Western Delight and Strathmore University vs Zetech University, while Sunday's matches will feature Strathmore University vs Zetech University, Pirates vs Blazers, and KCA-U vs Strathmore University.
