Narcotics Traffickers Busted in Nairobi and Mombasa

On July 25, 2019, police in Nairobi launched a raid on a house in Kamulu, Kayole area, arresting two people suspected of trafficking narcotics.

James Oluoch and Isaac Odhiambo were taken into custody after detectives recovered 400 kilograms of bhang and 19 car number plates.

Police are currently investigating the case and plan to charge the suspects.

Separately, in Mombasa, police on July 25, 2019, arrested two suspected drug traffickers in Bamburi, Kisauni.

The main suspect, 34-year-old Bwanahamad Fara, led detectives to his residence, where a second suspect, 24-year-old Abubakar Yahya, was also found and arrested.

Anti-narcotics detectives recovered several packets of heroin and over Sh1 million in cash, believed to be the proceeds of sale of narcotics estimated to be worth at least Sh2 million in street value.
