Male Celebrities Who've Cried On TV: A Look At The Emotional Moments ¶
It's not uncommon for celebrities to show their emotions in public, but when men cry, it's often met with surprise and curiosity. In Kenya, several male celebrities have been spotted breaking down in tears, and here are some of the most notable moments.
One of the most recent cases is that of musician Charles Njagua, also known as Jaguar, who was seen crying in public after losing the party nominations. The 'One Centimetre' hit maker was visibly upset, but justice was eventually served.
Another notable moment was when Deputy President William Ruto broke down in tears at a church ceremony, with his wife Rachel comforting him. This was not the only time he cried, as he also broke down again at a Thanksgiving ceremony after the elections.
Other celebrities who have been spotted crying in public include Bahati, who broke down during the 2015 Groove Awards and again at a live concert last week. King Kaka also broke down during an interview with Larry Madowo, while Mike Sonko got emotional when talking about his daughter Saumu Mbuvi.
Activist Boniface Mwangi, musician Jimmy Gait, and journalist Dennis Okari have also been spotted crying in public, with Mwangi breaking down during a live interview with Larry Madowo and Gait crying on Live TV after being trolled by KOT. Okari, on the other hand, cried at his wedding to fellow journalist Betty Kyalo.
