Miguna Miguna Slams Raila Over Uhuru Job Offer to Peter Kenneth

On July 25, Raila Odinga eulogized Peter Kenneth, a former Gatanga MP, and asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to give him a government job.

However, Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan lawyer living in Canada, has criticized Raila for the move, saying it is unfair to the youth who are struggling to find employment.

According to Miguna, Raila's request is a clear indication that he is out of touch with the needs of the Kenyan people.

"Aibu kwako, Raila Odinga. Badala ya kupigania vijana waliosoma na kupita mfano Kelvin Ochieng' kupewa ajira ili kujikimu kimaisha, unamwomba dikteta Uhuru kumpa kazi Peter Kenneth - bilionea mwizi anayemiliki kampuni ya bima na benki? Koma ulaghai!", Miguna said in a tweet.

On July 26, 2019, Miguna Miguna expressed his disappointment with Raila's move, saying it is a clear indication that he is out of touch with the needs of the Kenyan people.

"Peter Kenneth ni mtu muungwana sana. Ni mtu sai. Bw. Raia, huyu ni mtu anayefaa kupewa kitu cha kufanya. Alifanya vyema katika sekta ya benki," Raila said in a statement.

However, Miguna Miguna has disputed Raila's claims, saying that Peter Kenneth is not a suitable candidate for a government job.
