Published on July 26, 2019, a tumultuous relationship between Kenyan musicians Jovial and Otile Brown has come to an end.

Jovial, a sultry Mombasa songbird, has left Otile Brown's record label, Just In Love Music, just weeks after being gifted a brand new Mazda Demio.

The two artists had collaborated on two hit songs, Zichune and Amor, which garnered over 700,000 views on YouTube.

According to sources, Jovial felt Otile's behavior was 'controlling', leading to a misunderstanding that ultimately led to her departure from the label.

"That's true I have left the label after a misunderstanding with Otile over some issues I felt weren't right. But we are still cool with each other," Jovial told Nairobi News.

Otile Brown has yet to comment on the matter.
