Kenyan football champions Gor Mahia have bolstered their squad with the signing of two foreign strikers, Ghanaian Francis Afriyie and Ivorian Gislein Yikpe Gnamian, in a bid to replace the departed Jacques Tuyisenge.

Tuyisenge, a key player for the club, left for Angola's Petro Atletico just a week ago, creating a void that the club's management has sought to fill.

Afriyie, 24, joins Gor Mahia from Mexico's Murcielagos F.C, while Gnamian, 23, has experience playing in the Ivory Coast's top flight league with Sporting Club Gagnoa.

The two new signings will compete for playing time with other talented players in the squad, including Nicholas Kipkirui, Dennis Oalo, and Dickson Ambundo.

The club announced the acquisition of the two players on Friday, July 26, 2019.
