Kenyan gospel rapper Eko Dydda has shared a harrowing experience from his past, recalling the days when ethnicity led to loss of life. The incident occurred during Kenya's 2007/08 post-election violence.

Speaking to Citizen TV's morning show 'Day Break', Eko Dydda revealed that his lack of knowledge in his mother-tongue language almost cost him his life. He was cornered by a group of people during the violence and was asked to translate a radio broadcast, which he couldn't do.

'I was almost killed for not knowing my vernacular language at the time,' Eko Dydda recounted. 'During the post-election violence, I was cornered. They set a radio near me and told me to translate what was being said. I almost lost my life.'

Despite this traumatic experience, Eko Dydda has been making headlines for a different reason - infidelity allegations from his wife of 9 years. He denied the allegations, stating that his marriage was stable and that he had not chased his family out of their home.

However, to put the rumors to rest, Eko Dydda shared a video of himself hanging out with his wife and children at a city mall. He also emphasized that he does not respond to negative vibes and that his actions can be viewed from a positive angle.
