On July 26, 2019, East African Breweries Limited (EABL) released its full year financial results for the period ended June 2019, showcasing a significant growth in revenue and net profits.

The company's revenue grew by 12% to KSh82.54 billion, driven by a strong performance across all categories and markets. This growth was largely attributed to the success of brands such as Serengeti Lite, Tusker Cider, Chrome Vodka, Captain Morgan Gold, and Ugandan Waragi Pineapple.

Net profits surged to KSh11.5 billion, a sharp rise from KSh7.3 billion in 2018. The company's gross profit margin improved by 18% due to cost efficiencies driven through productivity initiatives.

EABL's capital expenditure stood at KSh11.7 billion, with the completion of the New Kisumu Breweries supporting the company's future growth. The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of KSh6.0 per share, totaling KSh8.5 per share for the year.
