On July 26, 2019, former Kerio Valley Development Authority Managing Director David Kimosop was arrested upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters for processing.
Kimosop is among 28 individuals facing charges over the alleged multi-billion Kimwarer and Arror dams scandal.
