On Thursday, 25th July, Karen Police officers arrested 41-year-old taxi driver David Kariuki Kamurwa at Gikambura in Kikuyu area, following an arrest warrant issued by the police.
According to a police report, officers from DCI Karen recovered a motor vehicle registration No. KCT 730Q, a Nissan March, at Gikambura within Kikuyu area.
Mr. Kariuki will be arraigned in court today for robbery with violence, after a phone belonging to police officer Vincent Muhia was recovered from his car.
The phone, an Oppo A7, had earlier been robbed from PC Vincent Muhia when he was struck and injured on the head by the assailant using a motor vehicle jack.
