Published on July 26, 2019, a trend has emerged in Tanzania where male celebrities accuse their ex-lovers of aborting their children.

Rayvanny, a Tanzanian musician, revealed in an interview that he only knows of one child he has with his baby mama Fahyma, Jadanvanny. He claimed that many women have aborted their pregnancies with him.

Rayvanny stated, "I believe that many pregnancies have been aborted because many women have at some point been pregnant for us." He also added, "I believe that because no woman has ever told me to my face that they are going to abort my child, Gosh even with all the fights we have fought."

Another Tanzanian musician, Diamond, accused his ex, Peniel Mungilwa, of terminating his pregnancy. He made this admission in a song titled 'Sikomi', where he bashed his former flame VJ Penny for aborting his baby.

Prezzo, a Tanzanian rapper, was also involved in a similar controversy in 2018. His ex, Amber Lulu, was accused of procuring an abortion after their relationship became turbulent. A source close to Amber Lulu claimed that she kept the news about her pregnancy under wraps, fearing Prezzo would ditch her.
