David Kimosop, the former head of the Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA), has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of funds meant for the construction of Arror and Kimwarer dams.

According to reports, Kimosop was apprehended on July 26, 2019, at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as he was about to depart for the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The alleged scandal involves the loss of over KSh 63 billion, which was meant to be used for the construction of the two dams.
