Engentroy's cloud-based CRM software has been gaining traction in Africa, addressing the need for companies to adopt technology in managing customer relationships.

According to Mr. Mark Omondi, a Senior Business Consultant at Engentroy Consulting, a good CRM system should include securing customer databases in the cloud, recording client interactions for follow-ups, analyzing lead conversion rates, and personalizing client interactions.

Engentroy's cloud-based CRM software provides these functionalities and more, accessible to sales teams. The software is provided as Software-As-A-Service (SaaS), run and managed by Engentroy Consulting Company, but rented by different companies depending on the number of individual users under them.

From as low as $5 per user per month, companies can lease this software for their sales teams. Mr. Omondi attributes the increasing adoption of cloud-based CRM systems to the high software installation and development costs associated with traditional on-premises CRM systems.

“Moreover, with an on-premises CRM system, the company has to permanently hire a technical staff to manage the servers and entire system. Obviously, you need to pay them a constant monthly salary plus a few benefits in addition to the direct costs of developing and maintaining the system, which can cost the firm millions in the long run,” adds Mr. Omondi.
