July 26, 2019 - Anerlisa Muigai, the heiress to Keroche Breweries, has made a surprise entry into the 2019 Instagram Rich List, released on Wednesday.
The list, compiled by Hopper HQ, an automated Instagram scheduler, ranks the world's top social media influencers based on how much they get paid to post promotional material on their Instagram.
At the top of the list is Kylie Jenner, who charges a staggering Sh126 million per post. Anerlisa, with 825,230 followers on her Instagram account, ranks 129th out of 136, earning Sh 340,000 per post.
Other notable African influencers on the list include Egyptian footballer Mohammed Salah, who is paid Sh16.5 million per post, and Nigerian singer Davido, who ranks 38th in the world.
