Vijiji Festival by Shujaa Stories ¶
When: July 27, 11 am – 7 pm
Where: Nairobi National Museum
The festival brings together creatives from various fields, including photography, performing arts, musicians, and models, for a celebration of modern and futuristic Africa and its culture.
Circus, Glow in the Dark ¶
When: July 27, 7 pm – July 28, 5 am
Where: The Alchemist
Using blacklight neon paint and neon lights, the Alchemist will transform the bar into a glow-in-the-dark experience. Performances by Sarakasi Trust and Two Stages will make this experience unforgettable.
Barrels Whiskey Expo ¶
When: July 27, 12 pm – July 28, 6 am
Where: P & L Luxe, 5 Kanjata Road
This is the third Barrels and Whiskey Expo, a celebration of whiskey for connoisseurs and enthusiasts. The expo comes in the form of an open boutique market and festival with African music, food, fashion, and art.
Laugh Festival 3 ¶
When: July 26, 5 pm – July 27, 2 am
Where: KICC
Bringing together Kenya's finest comedians, the 3rd edition of the Laugh Festival is set to be a barrel of laughs.
African Women in Media 2019 ¶
When: July 25, 9 am – July 27
Where: University of Nairobi
Every year, AWiM hosts a conference and festival that brings together the best women in media from across the continent, offering learning opportunities, speed mentorship, and exhibition opportunities.
Sarafina ¶
When: All Weekend
Where: Kenya National Theatre
This isn't the first time that Sarafina, the live musical, is premiering on stage at the Kenya National Theatre. After last year's success, the play has made a comeback this month.
