July 26, 2019, marks the 50th anniversary of the infamous Charles Manson murders, which took place in a Los Angeles mansion. The house, where Manson and his followers brutally killed Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, has now been sold to Zak Bagans, the star of Ghost Adventures.

The Spanish-style mansion, built in 1922, features two bedrooms, a pool, and a hot tub, as well as a patio overlooking the city. The property, listed for $1.98 million, was sold just two weeks after it hit the market.

According to TMZ, Bagans made a 'close-to-asking offer' and the sale will close in early September. The new owner told the publication that almost everything inside the house is original, which was one of the main things that attracted him to the property.

Bagans' purchase of the Manson house comes as Quentin Tarantino's new film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, premieres in theaters. The movie tells the story of the Manson murders and features Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie.

The house's dark history didn't seem to deter Bagans, who is known for his spirit-hunting reality TV show. The property's listing describes it as 'truly, one of a kind,' and it seems that its new owner is also one of a kind.
