Comedian and radio host Jalang'o has sparked a heated debate on social media after sharing his thoughts on the unemployment crisis affecting young people in Kenya despite many having high grades.

Speaking to his audience, Jalang'o urged young people to consider any job opportunity that comes their way, given the current economic situation in the country.

He cited the case of Kelvin Ochieng, a former student of the University of Nairobi who graduated with a degree in 2017 but is currently unemployed.

"Let's not die trying," Jalang'o said. "Let's not wait for opportunities to come to us. We need to go out there and create our own opportunities."

He emphasized that having high grades is not a guarantee of employment, and that many young people with high grades are still struggling to find jobs.

"We need to be proactive in our job search," Jalang'o said. "We need to be willing to take risks and try new things. We can't just sit back and wait for opportunities to come to us."

His comments have sparked a mixed reaction from his followers, with some agreeing with his sentiments and others criticizing his approach.
