On July 22, 2019, Jaydeep Rajesh Kumar, an employee of Ken Match (E.A) Ltd, reported being robbed of Sh10.5 million while driving in Nairobi's Parklands area.

However, an investigation revealed that Kumar had collected Sh3.2 million from suppliers and banked it in Westlands, Nairobi.

Nairobi police boss Philip Ndolo stated that the remaining amount was never collected from customers, and the case is being further investigated.

Police confirmed the claims by visiting the bank where Kumar had deposited the cash.

Kumar is expected to appear in court on Thursday to face various charges.
