On a typical day, receiving a call from a parent can be daunting. For Holy Dave, a popular gospel show host, this was the case when he received a summons from his dad.
As he prepared for the worst, Dave had mentally listed all the possible reasons he might be in trouble. However, little did he know that the real reason behind the summons was far from what he had anticipated.
As he arrived at his dad's house, Dave was met with a surprise that left him speechless. His dad had mistakenly bought the wrong flavor of pizza and wanted to dispose of it.
Instead of being scolded, Dave found himself being offered the pizza as a meal. He sarcastically pointed out, 'At least now I have dinner.'
His sister Joey Muthengi, however, was not as fortunate. She jokingly begged her dad, 'My fridge is also empty, sabaza please.' Dave, being the good brother that he is, invited her over to share the pizza.
As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. For Holy Dave, it was a pizza that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
