Kenya's power couple, Wahu and Nameless, have been serving goals since their marriage, but what fans don't know is that their union has not been without its challenges. In fact, the couple came close to breaking up on their very first day of marriage.
According to an interview with 'Samantha Bridal', Wahu and Nameless spoke about the petty arguments that almost sowed distrust between them. The couple's disagreement started over the decor of their home.
Wahu vividly recalls the incident, saying, 'My house was very colorful while his was full of black and grey stuff when we were dating. I was ok with it at first, but after we got married, I decided to move into his house because it was bigger and I decided to get rid of his grey carpet.'
However, Nameless had a different perspective on the matter, stating, 'We had just come from the wedding and all I wanted was some little time to recover, but she would hear none of it. She wanted to change everything, including the curtain.'
Wahu felt disrespected by Nameless' reaction, generating second thoughts about the man she had just said 'Yes' to. She felt like 'you do not respect my decision and I don't even know if this marriage will work.'
Fortunately, the couple was able to work through their issues and their marriage has endured. However, the incident serves as a reminder that even the most celebrated couples can face challenges in their relationships.
