On July 25, 2019, Google announced the launch of Gallery Go, a 10MB app that helps users organize their photos offline.

Unlike Google Photos, which requires a stable internet connection, Gallery Go uses machine learning to organize photos and offers simple editing tools, such as auto-enhance and filters.

The app is designed to work on devices with limited processing power and storage space, making it ideal for users in areas with unreliable internet connections.

Gallery Go is available for download in the Play Store and comes pre-installed on the iTel S15 and select A55 devices in Nigeria.

Google's launch of Gallery Go comes just after the company announced that Google Photos has crossed the billion-user threshold, a milestone achieved in just over four years since its debut in May 2015.
