According to an interview with The Star, Tim Njiru stated that he is flattered by the attention. When asked about being Chelah Yegon's 'Man Crush Monday' (MCM), he replied, "Oh wow, I have no idea! Well, that just makes me feel like Tim!"
He further added, "For someone like Chelah to put me as an MCM, it goes to show she is a normal person and she likes normal people like Tim. I love her too. I love those who love me back."
