Felix Oduor, popularly known as Jalang'o, is experiencing a challenging time in his career. His program, Jalang'o With the Money, which airs on KTN on weekends, has not been broadcast for some time.
According to a source, the Standard Group has informed Jalang'o that his program is not sustainable in its current form and requires adjustments to the amount of money given to the audience.
The Standard Group is reportedly facing a deep financial crisis, prompting efforts to cut costs at the Mombasa Road-based station. Proposed changes include reducing the money awarded in the program as follows:
- Street Money: from Kes 2,000 to 200
- Entrepreneur of the Week: from Kes 5,000 to 500
- Shopper of the Week: from Kes 10,000 to 1,000
Jalang'o's position at Radio Maisha is also uncertain.
