Anita Fabiola, a TV presenter known for hosting the popular show Be My Date on NTV Uganda, was fired after private photos of her were leaked online.
According to reports, the photos were leaked by a blackmailer who had demanded approximately Ksh 1.5 million from Fabiola in exchange for not releasing the photos. When she refused to pay, the blackmailer made the photos public.
The leak of the photos led to widespread sharing on social media platforms, prompting NTV Uganda to take action against Fabiola.
In a statement on social media, Fabiola expressed her distress over the situation, saying, "The last week hasn’t been easy; no woman would like to show her body to complete strangers. Much as I am a victim, I feel like I have let you down"
