Mutahi Ngunyi suggests reconsidering this perspective, pointing out that the Nation Media Group is owned by the Aga Khan, who is not from Kenya.

Breaking up media monopolies is good for Kenya. Giving a monopoly to some Chinese entity is bad for Kenya. But where does the Aga Khan come from? Certainly not Muranga.
