Former NBA star Lamar Odom was found unconscious inside the owner’s suite of the Love Ranch South, a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He was taken to a Las Vegas hospital, where his then-wife, Khloe Kardashian, remained by his side.
The Love Ranch, located about 80 miles outside Las Vegas, is part of Dennis Hof’s brothel empire in the only state where prostitution is legal, in eight designated counties. According to reports, Odom had been partying at the brothel since Saturday, consuming large quantities of cocaine, cognac, and up to 10 herbal performance-enhancing supplements.
Details of Odom’s Stay ¶
Odom stayed in a private bungalow with a combined living room and dining area, a spa-like bathroom, and a king-size bed in the master bedroom. Hof described the 3,000 square foot suite to Inside Edition as "a home" set up for parties.
"He was staying in a 3,000 square foot suite. It is a home. It was set up to party and he was there to party."
During his stay, Odom mostly kept to himself, only visiting the bar to buy a bottle of cognac. He was accompanied by two of Hof’s employees, Monica and Ryder, who is reportedly one of the most popular workers at The Love Ranch.
Expenses and Aftermath ¶
Odom spent $75,000 during his time at the brothel. Photos of his suite, courtesy of Radar Online, show the luxurious accommodations.
