Charles Njagua Kanyi, popularly known as Jaguar, has resigned as a board member of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA).
Jaguar served on the NACADA board for three years before submitting his resignation, citing personal reasons. In a statement, he said: I would like to tender my resignation as a Board Member of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) effective immediately due to personal reasons.
Prior to his resignation, Jaguar had threatened to leave his position if the government did not address corruption within the organization. He expressed gratitude to the board, management, and staff for their cooperation during his tenure, stating: Serving as a NACADA Board Member has been a fulfilling learning experience and I deeply appreciate all the cooperation from the Board, management and staff in the campaign against alcohol and drug abuse. Thank you for the privilege to serve Kenyans.
