Wilson Mutura and his wife, Anne Muhonja, gained attention for their humble beginnings, having initially spent only KSh 100 on their wedding. Following their story, they received a lavish wedding ceremony worth KSh 3.5 million, along with other gifts, including a fully paid honeymoon at a four-star hotel in Diani, Mombasa.
The couple was also promised a trip to Dubai as part of their wedding package, courtesy of Slique Events Planner Ltd. However, according to EDaily, they have not received any updates regarding the trip.
Wilson Mutura expressed uncertainty about the status of their Dubai honeymoon, stating, "About Dubai honeymoon package, I am yet to be updated. I suspect it was cancelled because no one has phoned us to inform us about the progress of plans."
In addition to the pending Dubai trip, the couple is also awaiting the transfer of a piece of land in Isinya, which was promised to them. Mutura mentioned that the land ownership was postponed but is expected to be transferred officially.
