A Zimbabwean man, Spencer Sibanda, has sparked controversy in his village by having a relationship with his stepmother, Cynthia Msimanga, who is now eight months pregnant with his child.

Background

The relationship reportedly began after Spencer's father passed away in 2016. Cynthia had been married to Spencer's father for 15 years.

The incident occurred in Nkayi, a rural district in central Zimbabwe. Villagers, including their Chief, Sivalo, strongly opposed the relationship, considering it an abomination, and demanded that the two end it.

Response and Consequences

However, Spencer and Cynthia chose not to end their relationship. Instead, they have fled to South Africa due to pressure from the villagers.

The recovered account cited reporting by Tuko.
