Prophet Dr. David Owour of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness Church caused a commotion near Nation Centre after visiting the Unique Ted Baker designer shop.
Owour, whose wealth has been subject to speculation, entered the store with a large security detail, and shoppers were asked to leave. After shopping for about 15 minutes, he exited the store to a crowd of eager followers. Some women kissed his feet, while others tried to touch his clothing in search of healing and blessings.
According to eyewitnesses, Owour said,
"Let the children of God come to me and all their problems will be solved"
as he led a brief prayer session with the crowd. He was then driven away in a Range Rover Vogue.
