A skyscraper set to be built in Seoul, South Korea, will feature an innovative design that makes it nearly invisible. The 1,476-foot Tower Infinity, designed by GDS Architects, will use an LED facade and cameras to project the surroundings behind the building onto its front, making its outlines indiscernible when the system is turned on.
The building's design also incorporates a significant amount of clear glass and an open floor plan, allowing visitors to look down multiple levels even when the projections are turned off. According to the architects, the Tower Infinity will primarily be used for entertainment and leisure, featuring a water park, movie theaters, and restaurants.
The tower's observation deck is planned to be the third highest in the world and will be located near Seoul's Incheon International Airport. The LED facade can also be used to broadcast special events or advertisements onto the building.
