Kenya's National Budget Increases by Sh350 Billion

The Cabinet has approved a Sh350 billion increase in the national budget, bringing the total to Sh2.6 trillion. According to the plan, Sh100 billion will be used to raise wages, while the intended use of the remaining Sh250 billion is unclear. This increased budget is expected to be financed largely through higher taxes and additional loans.
