The National Super Alliance (NASA) has been accused of disrupting Jubilee activities in Western Kenya ahead of the August 8 General Election.

Jubilee leaders, including Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, claim that NASA has been spreading lies about the Jubilee Party, causing discontent among residents.

Speaking in Bungoma county on February 20, Wamalwa stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration has initiated numerous projects that benefit residents, contrary to NASA's claims that Jubilee has done nothing for the area.

Wamalwa also accused NASA of using propaganda and harassment to turn residents against the Jubilee Party. As quoted by Standard, he said,

"The opposition through National Super Alliance (NASA) should stop lying to the public that Jubilee has failed and has no chance in western. They should account for what they did when they were part of the coalition government,"

Western Kenya is considered a NASA stronghold, with two of its principals, Wetangula and Mudavadi, hailing from the region.

The recovered account cited reporting by Tuko.
