Following his loss at the 2015 Groove Awards, Willy Paul has made a public statement on social media, urging his fans to redirect their praise towards God.
Bahati won four awards at the event, while Willy Paul did not receive any. In his post, Willy Paul expressed his desire to return to his roots, reminiscent of his earlier work, such as the song Sitolia.
He shared a message with his fans, saying:
hey guys people change.... i love you all even those that don't love me... you should love your neighbor as you love yourself that is what the word of GOD says.... God loved us so much and because of that love he sent his only son to come and die because of our sins. today i want us to have a big chat.. a chat that will change a lot.. a that will change how you view me and how i view you..... ask me questions that you want answered and i will answer... i cant do this alone i need your support and you need mine too... lets keep the word of God real and lets not forget to respect each other.. i have the whole day with you my family
