Njoro and Kameme FM presenter Muthee Kiengei engaged in a public disagreement on Instagram regarding their support for a talented older man. The dispute began when Njoro accused Muthee Kiengei of exploiting the man for personal gain.
Njoro expressed his concerns in an Instagram post, stating, "It’s so sad and painful.. This man is so talented but what our vernacular hosts are doing to him just for the selfish gain is so bad and sad… Some have even opened YouTube channels coz of his talent.. I wonder how much they pay him… Yaani anatumiwa vibaya Sana… I have a message for you guys.. This is like your father mnatafta pesa na talent yake… God halali the thunder that will strike you ndio naongezea kuni.. Stop using him.. If u are funny you are if not accept and move on…. Nagoja kesi sasa."
Muthee Kiengei responded to Njoro’s allegations, explaining that he had helped the man become a millionaire after hosting him on Kameme FM. According to Muthee Kiengei, the man received significant donations, including a quarter plot of land, ten goats, and a check for 50,000 Kenya shillings.
Njoro further warned Muthee Kiengei, stating, "Just know God is watching. By God’s name I will change this man’s life."
The exchange sparked a reaction from Instagram users, with many defending Muthee Kiengei and criticizing Njoro for his allegations. One user, brenda_itugi, commented, "@njoro_the_comedian But why are you yapping about things you don’t know.A lil bit of research wouldn’t hurt you know. And now you want to deceive the social media about how much you care about that mzee.Where your ass was at when he needed help the most."
