La Liga president Javier Tebas has cast doubt on Barcelona's signing of Antoine Griezmann, citing a dispute over the transfer fee.

On 12 July, Barcelona activated Griezmann's Sh13.9 billion (120m euro) release clause, but Atletico Madrid claims the deal was done before the clause dropped from 200m to 120m euros on 1 July.

Atletico Madrid has submitted a complaint to La Liga, which could lead to the player's transfer being blocked.

La Liga will now decide on the course of action to take, with Tebas stating that it is possible to block a player's transfer.

Griezmann has already played a friendly for Barcelona, a 2-1 defeat by Chelsea in Japan.

Atletico Madrid had previously reported Barcelona to Fifa over an alleged illegal approach for Griezmann in December 2017.
