Ahmed Darwesh, a journalist with KTN, passed away on Monday due to complications from diabetes, a condition he had been battling for over a decade.

According to the report, Darwesh was found unresponsive on his sofa shortly after arriving at his home in South C. His body was later transported to Mombasa, where he was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions on Tuesday.

Darwesh was a beloved Kiswahili news anchor, leaving behind a young family, including a one-month-old infant and another child under the age of 10.
