Johnson Muthama, a former Kenyan senator, has won a court battle to evict his ex-wife Agnes Kavindu from their luxury home in Machakos, Kenya.

According to court documents, Muthama and Kavindu were married in 1975 and had three children before divorcing in 1983.

However, the couple reconciled and began living together again, but their marriage ultimately ended in divorce.

In 2014, Muthama attempted to sell some of his property, which led to a dispute over the ownership of their luxury home.

Kavindu filed a lawsuit in 2019, claiming that Muthama had wrongfully attempted to sell their home and other assets without her consent.

However, the court ruled in favor of Muthama, citing the couple's 1983 divorce agreement, which stated that neither party would be entitled to any compensation for the other's actions.

Justice J.N. Onyiengo, who presided over the case, dismissed Kavindu's appeal, stating that there was no one who could claim any compensation for Muthama's actions.

With this ruling, Muthama has been granted the right to evict Kavindu from their luxury home in Machakos, Kenya.
